The 82nd Financial General Assembly of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey was held at TOBB ETÜ with the participation of the Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat, representatives of chambers and commodity exchanges, and business people.

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his statement, drew attention to the importance of protecting production power and stated that a comprehensive "Industrial Protection and Transformation Strategy" should be created. Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, on the other hand, emphasized that Turkey has risen to a stronger position in the global economy with its export and production power. As part of the general assembly programs, geographically indicated and regional product stands were visited, and a reception and dinner program was also held. On the second day of the program, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received them in his office.

The General Assembly programs were attended by Levent Hakkı Yılmaz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the İskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry, general assembly delegates, Yeşim Öğütmen, President of the TOBB Hatay Women Entrepreneurs Board, Ali Dablan, President of the TOBB Hatay Young Entrepreneurs Board, and board members.
