The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Iskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Levent Hakkı Yılmaz, participated as a speaker in the UR-GE Panel held within the scope of the Responsible®️ - Responsibility and International Competitiveness Summit.
In the panel moderated by Mehmet Ali Kılıçkaya, General Director of Exports at the Ministry of Trade, Chairman Yılmaz informed the participants about the “Filter and Ancillary Industries Export Team UR-GE Project” carried out by the Iskenderun Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
In his speech, Chairman Yılmaz stated that approximately 65-70% of the filters produced in Turkey are produced in the region, and that the sector has strategic importance for the regional economy. Emphasizing that the project provides support to companies in their green transformation, digitalization, and R&D-focused transformation processes, Yılmaz stated that the aim is to increase the international competitiveness of companies through training, consultancy, and overseas business development activities.
