At the meeting, it was noted that following the February 6, 2023 earthquake, DASK (Turkish Natural Disaster Insurance Pool) had made compensation payments to the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization based on the damage assessment. Due to changes in the damage assessment (minor-moderate-severe) at the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, the return of the compensation paid to policyholders is being requested. It was decided to write to the TOBB (Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey) sector council to resolve this issue.
