31 Ekim 2025 - OTHER Announcements
Toys imported for supply to our country are inspected in accordance with the Toy Safety Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated October 4, 2016, and numbered 29847, pursuant to the Communiqué on Import Control of Toys (Product Safety and Inspection: 2025/10). These inspections are conducted through the Risk-Based Control System in Foreign Trade (TAREKS).
The sixth paragraph of Article 5 of the aforementioned Regulation stipulates: "Manufacturers shall display their names, registered trade names, or registered trademarks, and their contact address on the toy itself, or, where this is not possible, on the packaging of the toy or on a document accompanying the toy. The address shall indicate a single point of contact for the manufacturer." However, during product safety inspections, toys are encountered that do not include the manufacturer"s name, brand, or address on the toy or packaging.
In this context, during inspections to be conducted as of January 1, 2026, applications that do not include the manufacturer"s and importer"s names, registered trade names, registered trademarks, and addresses on the toy itself, or, if this is not possible, on the packaging, or on an accompanying document will be evaluated as "Reject: Lack of Marking."
