It has been stated that violations related to Acidovorax citrulli, a quarantine agent for our country, have been detected in watermelon seeds imported from the Syrian Arab Republic. The text further states that, except for shipments made with Plant Health Certificates issued before 01.05.2026, the entry of watermelons and watermelon seeds from the Syrian Arab Republic into our country is prohibited until further notice.
