The establishment and operation of (UTTS) was decided and the Official Official Gazette dated 21.09.2024 and numbered 32669 Various changes have been made to the scope of UTTS obligatory vehicles with the Communiqué on Amendments to the National Vehicle Identification System Application General Communiqué (Sequence No: 1) published in the Gazette.

Dated 7 December 2024. According to the Communiqué published in the Official Gazette (Sequence No: 3), "TTO, TTB and other companies that have the obligation to install and use until 31/1/2025" Regarding the equipment, it is stated that, provided that the necessary application and registration procedures are completed at www.utts.gov.tr, the said equipment can be installed or assembled and started to be used by 30/4/2025 at the latest. In this context, the legal period has been extended to 31 April 2025, provided that the necessary applications for the National Vehicle Identification System are made by 31 January 2025.
