The Turkish-German Economic Conferences, held in Berlin in 2023, Gaziantep in 2024, and again in Berlin in 2025, have made significant contributions to strengthening the strategic partnership between the Turkish and German business communities, developing new investment and production opportunities, and creating a sustainable dialogue platform between the public and private sectors. In the current period, when Europe is developing new industrial policies to increase its competitiveness, aiming to strengthen its production capacity in the defense and security sector, and reshaping global supply chains, economic and industrial cooperation between Turkey and Germany is more important than ever. Türkiye"s strong production infrastructure, advanced industrial capacity, and strategic position in European value chains can significantly contribute to strengthening the "Made in Europe" vision. In this context, the modernization of the Turkey-EU Customs Union in line with today"s economic realities is of critical importance in terms of deepening industrial integration and increasing common competitiveness. Within this scope, the 4th Turkish-German Economic Conference will be held on October 13, 2026 at the TOBB Twin Towers (Ankara), in partnership with our Union (TOBB) and the German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK), with the contributions of the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TATSO) and the German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Turkey). The conference; The conference will bring together high-level public representatives from Turkey and Germany, leading business organizations, defense and aerospace industry firms, technology companies, main contractors, SMEs, investors, and sector representatives.

The following strategic topics will be addressed at the conference:

• Strengthening Turkish-German industrial cooperation in line with the "Made in Europe" vision,

• Modernization of the Turkey-EU Customs Union and deepening integration into European value chains,

• Joint production, technology development, and industrial collaborations in the defense and security industry, • Critical supply chains, strategic raw materials, and production security,

• Opportunities for Turkish and German companies to cooperate on infrastructure, energy, transportation, and contracting projects in third countries,

• Joint work in the fields of artificial intelligence, digital technologies, advanced manufacturing systems, and innovation,

• Export controls, dual • Sustainable industry and investment opportunities in green and digital transformation processes.

The conference will offer participants the opportunity to make direct contact with decision-makers, develop new commercial and technological partnerships, evaluate joint investment and production opportunities, discuss joint projects that can be implemented in European markets as well as third country markets, and establish long-term collaborations. It will also constitute an important platform for evaluating, from a business perspective, the contribution that Türkiye"s complementary production capacity will make to increasing the competitiveness of European industry.
