UMAT Turkish General Stores Inc. board members have visited ITSO during to the scope of the visit to Hatay.
ITSO Chairman Levent Yilmaz and members of the Board of Directors of the UMAT, who were met by the members of the Board of Directors, also visited ITSO Assembly Hall, and received information from ITSO Management.
UMAT Turkish General Stores Inc, Chairman of the Board of Directors Hüsnü Ünal stated that Iskenderun Gulf is an industry, commerce and port city and has an important position and stated that İTSO has been working as a locomotive in the development of industry and commerce.
Noting that they are a company with branches in Istanbul, Izmir, Samsun, Mersin and Iskenderun, which are big in imports and exports and always on the agenda, Ünal said: “At the same time, our companies also provide insurance services at the entrance and exit of all customs gates. It has been serving for 80 years with old excitement. Following the elections held in 2017, we continue our work intensively. So today we are in Iskenderun. We visit our branches and the dynamics of the city for receiving information and evaluations.”
ITSO President Levent Hakki Yilmaz expressed his satisfaction for the visit: “We live in honor of welcoming UMAT board members in our municipality and our chamber. Iskenderun has an important place in the region as an Iron-Steel, Filter, Logistics, Port trade city. UMAT has branches in the major cities and towns in Turkey only in the Iskenderun district. It is an important detail. we are hoping that trade will increase even more with the end of the Syrian events in our city which increases the trade volume every passing day.”
